I am traveling from Rhode Island to Nashville TN. via 78 to 68 to 79. Clarksburg WV. is about half way. Looking for a good campground to stop in for a night and maybe do a little sight seeing or something to do in this area give or take. I'm in a PU Truck w/ a 34' camper.
Me and my friend are going to come to new orleans very soon for a small vacay and I wanted us to rent a sports car for a couple days or so. I don't mean like a camaro or mustang or nothing like that. More like a mercedes SL or lotus or corvette, something like that. Also if there is no place like that is there a race track somewhere in new orleans where you can take a sports car for a spin around the track? I love racing and cars and so does my friend so this is one of our dreams to do in new orleans so please if anyone knows anything do not hesitate to reply. Thank you all.
My sister, cousin and I are headed to the keys the first weekend of May. We will be staying 3 days and 3-4 nights. We are doing our open water scuba dives for certification as well as trying to fit in one additional dive. I am looking for a great place (key) to stay that isn't a tourist mecca, and isn't filled with college kids, but is still fun. We'll be splitting our time diving, hanging at the beach and exploring. A place that has a small bit of nightlife would be awesome but again, not looking for the "drag" of college bars and tourists that key west is known for.
Any suggestions on which key to call home base, unique accommodations, must see detours would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, we are 4 girls, university students and going to the Work and Travel programme to Eagles beachwear stores in Myrtle Beach this june 2014 to september 2014. We are looking for some cheap housing (max 320 USD/week) in this area near our job place. Does anyone know about something? Thanks a lot for your response!!
Hi, Husband and I are going to be in FMB with our three kids, ages 10,13 and 15 yrs old. staying at the Santa Maria Harbour Resort for Christmas and New Years 2015. I have been reading everything I can get my eyes on. LOL.
1. Are there recommended places to go for Christmas Eve, Day and New Years Eve? to eat, celebrate?
2. Are there any all you can eat crab legs anywhere?
3 best family place for lobster?
4 Do kids eat free at Pincher's Crab shack Tiki?
5 What are the best restaurants for happy hour on the south of the Island?
6 Is the trolley and driving way too busy at Christmas too, or mainly just at Spring Break?
7 best place for shelling?
8. What is an absolutely NOT to miss in FMB for families?
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your response. :) Let the planning begin. :)
I'm exploring Kansas for a week with my 9 yr old in Sept to see a different part of the country. If we stay in Hays one night can we get up, see Castle and Monument rocks, get to Mt Sunflower then down to Dodge City to stay that night or is that too much? If too much is there a good way to break it up or should we just head to Dodge after the rocks? The reason for Mt Sunflower is just because its silly and to set a quick foot in Colorado just to say we did.
I live in Charlotte NC and have out-of-state relatives visiting Hilton head Island SC. They would like to meet semi in the middle of the two places. Their boys are 5 and 9. I am a senior with severe asthma and limited mobility. What would be some interesting things off the beaten path (inside and outside ) for all of us to enjoy?
