Interislander ferry question

I am looking at taking the Interislander ferry from Wellington to Picton while on vacation. While looking at the fare structure I noticed two prices, one for "Saver Change" and one for "Easy Change" What are these referring to? What is the difference between to two fares? Thank you.

interislander.co.nz/Fares-an... There you see that with Easy Change fares you can cancel your trip right up to the time of check-in, without any penalty fees, whereas Saver Change fares incur a 50 percent cancellation fee. It's like with cheap flights.
