Hi..,....request advice from experts for three day trip to Interlaken in next month, we are planning to rent a car from zurich, will stay at Interlaken for three nights. Now which places to visit and how by car please advice. We are new to left hand drive at Swiss so wants to avoid highways /expressways. Wants to see Grindelwald,Murren,Wengel etc near by.Thanks a lot for your time in this regard.
We're not sure it would be worth buying a half fare card, which we'd only use for 2 days. We'll be staying in Murren and need it for going back and forth to Lauterbrunnen, the Allmendhubel (possibly one way only, as we;ll walk down), and a round trip to Grindelwald. seeing that the cost of the card is £86 per person, will it be worth getting/
Thanks very much.
I have an urgent plan to visit Switzerland and Italy in May to Jun around 26 days. Would you comment my itinerary? Is it too tight for the schedule to see "Must Visit Places" in these two countries. Shall I skip some place and add more days in certain places?

Thanks all !
Most hotels I've been looking at in the center of Lucerne say "self-parking." However, some have "self-parking for 18 euros with in-out privileges".
I've been assuming the first one means having to go to a parking lot, but am wondering if the second one means a parking lot associated with the hotel in some way?
Can anyone help? My hotel is located on Bruchstrasse, not too far from the lake.
we are visiting Switzerland in early June.we would like to stay at zermatt for 2 nights.I find the hotels are almost booked up now and only the expensive ones are available.we have 2 kids aged 8 and 3..is it ok to stay at brig for 2 nights and visit zermatt from there..I see it's an hour by train to zermatt but with kids I'm doubtful..any suggestions would be of great help..
In September We would like to walk from Sunnegga to Riffelalp....is the track steep? we are good walkers I our 70's but unsure about this walk if the ascent is steep. We want to visit the lakes. From Riffelalp we would get the train back to Zermatt. We would get to Sunneggga by the cable car.
We are going to Europe for Christmas/New Year, but there's very little chance of snow in Spain/France/Italy. We're from the Philippines and this is our first time to hopefully experience snow. What are the chances that it will be snowing in Interlaken on December 27 and 28? Thank you!
