arriving on a Monday evening and going to magic show; there all day Tuesday & Wednesday with a 12 year old (we are 65); want to do and see as much as we can. Should we book tours or do it ourselves? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I will soon be living in Hamilton. Can someone please help me on this : is it safe to drive at night passing through King street to McMaster university? And how bad the traffic during daytime (same routine).

airline gives about 2.5 hours transfer time in Toronto, this would be on a flight destined for IAD. I would have to clear Canadian customs and American customs and go to a different terminal? is that enough time?

a friend of mine went to Wawa, Ontario, Canada and got me this bracelet at a store there; its a brown leather band with strings around it that tighten and loosen it, there is a big white bead in the middle with a brown native american design carved in it; i was wondering if anyone knew of the store that sold these so that i could figure what the symbol means. could you help?
I am looking for transportation for two adult males, from Wawa area to the National Park in Pic River on September 9, 2007. Is there any public transportation, as a bus or train or is there any local business that drives that way, where we could hitch a ride. Is hitch hiking legal in Canada?
