i live in glasgow and want to travel to port lairge waterford how do i get there.
You could travel by rail, ferry and rail or by air then by rail. How about a flight to Dublin and then by train?

That's what I'd do. Cheap flight to Dublin: www.skyscanner.net will give you carriers and cheapest fares for your dates. Then train from Dublin to Waterford. Train times, details and fares on www.irishrail.ie Journey takes around 3.5 hours. Or you could take the bus from Dublin buseireann.ie/inner.php?id=2... for times and info. Expressway bus 4 takes about 3 hours.

I Would be tempted to fly into Cork and bus to Waterford. Just see which flights suit your times and budget. The other way would be Rail and Sail although this would be a long journey.

You can take a bus directly from Dublin airport to Waterford with JJ Kavanagh bus company. They have about 10 departure times a day. jjkavanagh.ie/images/stories...
