Yes you can go to Duinrell its nice dont forget to bring your bathingsuits. You can also go to Den Haag. Or you can go to Scheveningen to walk on the boulevard and the beach its very nice. Its just 15 min. from Wassenaar.

LOL bathing suits !!! reminds me of that day (quite some years ago) you could go swimm naked but on our arrival it seemed that there were so many people they just opened the swimming pool for everyone We did get a free kind of paper like bathing outfit but some didn't last long when coming down the slide can you imagine ! :)) nevertheless yes... quite nice to go there with children on a normal day
