Hotel/motel in Arlington or Rosslyn

by alycat Online Now Sep 3, 2011 at 8:48 PM

Im flying into Washington Dulles first week of Oct and looking for a reasonably priced hotel/motel in Arlington or Rosslyn for 3 days for a single guy. Preferably a place that has a shuttle service from the airport. I'll have someone drive me around town, so it wont be a problem if the hotel is away from the monuments or museums. Suggestions please guys Thnx in advance

Dulles is 20 miles west of the City - I don't know of any hotel in Arlington, Alexandria or Rosslyn that runs a shuttle to Dulles (very rare if you can find it.) Shupershuttle operates at Dulles (www.supershuttle.com) They are about the same price round trip as a taxi would be one-way. This is an expensive area, use the search sites to look for hotel prices. Consider if you will be using the subway (Metro.) If you will not be using Metro, you can find a better value at someplace like the Best Western Pentagon (not a bad location, but to far to walk to the Metro.) Enjoy your visit, David
