Washington D.C. Travel Answers

change location

weather in September

I will be in Washington DC Sept 14 through the 17th for business. Never been anywhere near that side of the country. What will the weather be like? Should I pack short sleeve or long? I live in Oklahoma and we are still having triple digit high temperatures so I just want to pack the right clothing. Thank you

    By Sept the weather should be pleasant enough and typically light jackets are not even required in the evening. Check cityrating.com/cityweather.a... for some historical patterns. It's not the heat that will get you, it's the humidity!

    Highs in the mid 80's, lows in the low 70's to high 60's, and frequently humid. the humidity surprises a lot of people. David
