I will be flying into Chicago Airport on the 18th of June on a flight from Toronto. This flight arrives in Chicago at 8:08pm and is scheduled to depart for Lansing, Mi. at 9:17pm. My question is, since this will be my first port of entry into the U.S.A., I will have to go through passport control. Will I then have to identify and recheck in my luggage? Also, will I be able to make my connecting flight in just 1 hour 17 minutes? How far is the gate of my departing flight to Lansing. I am arriving on a United flight 4859 Operated by Expressjet Airlines DBA United Express and Departing to Lansing on United 5905Operated by Expressjet Airline DBA United Express.
I have booked my tickets through Expedia for the first time, so I am not familiar with a way I could find this information out via United Air??? Does anyone have any ideas of how I might reach my departing gate as fast as possible? Could I, if necessary, book one of those small electric vehicles to transport me to my departing gate?
Is there an on-line 'map' of the Chicago airport that I could see where the two terminals are in relationship to each other?
Thank you for any advice or help you might give me.
