how can you travel from ukhta to moscow

I'm looking for recommendations/suggestions on transportation options getting to Khasan from Vladivostok. Should i take a private taxis, marshrutka, train? Can anyone recommend a private taxi driver or tour operator? Does anyone know if there are any marshrutka/bus routes from the airport or city center?

Hello I am visiting your city this August. Is there anyone who can help me select a hotel with a very central location in Vladivostok. One that is close to resturants, pubs and markets. I have been reading a lot on Primorrie Krai and the region. Central Vladivostok is where I need the most help, if there is anyone who can help it would be greatly appreciated. For any assistance I thank You in Advance.

Need a tour for St Petersburg. Small tour, have visas, but am traveling on Crystal Serenity Cruise Ship. Now getting ready to go and need tour but Visa issued thru Crystal tour agent in Russia. Actur travel I think. Any ideas? Wanted a small group or just 2 of us.

Hi, can anyone answer me if the ship dock at the Marine Facade St Petersburg, is there any public transoprt to the town ?

I will be in Sochi as a stop on a cruise in September. Can any one recommend a reliable tour operator which offers day tours of Sochi? Will tour operators include a group visa so that I do not have to purchase a separate visa?

Hello,

Has anyone been to Kamchatka and can give me some advice on travelling around, treks, must see things etc.?

I have been doing as much research as possible on the web but am still unclear as to things like transport, independent travel, accommodation outside of Petropavlosk.

We cannot afford the helicopter tours so is the only other alternative to join a guided tour or is it possible to get around on your own using public transport or hiring vehicles.

Hi all, I am trying to find the bus schedule between Chudovo and Veliky Novgorod. The new Sapsan stops at Chudovo and only takes less than an hour from St Peteresburg. The tourist site says to then catch a bus from the station but I am unable to find a schedule to see if this would be a time efficient way to go and if I would be able to get back to Chudovo to catch the Moscow/st Petersburg train which stops at Chudovo at either 5:pm and 7:30 pm.

I am a frequent traveller and always end up back home with huge mobile phone bills due to roaming (I need to stay connected due to pro and personnal reasons). If I turn off 3G I can only get connected when I am near a Wi-Fi spot and phone calls are banned anyway (unless I use Skype)...So if you have hints to avoid roaming or else, I would be grateful ! I will be in St-P for work for three days next week.
When looking at the evening events St-P offers, ballet in one of the theaters seems to be a good call. Is it possible to buy tickets last-minute? Or are they often sold out in advance?

Also, is it possible to join an existing city tour last-minute? I can't really say in advance which day I will be having the most time to do this but I definately want to explore St-P a bit.

Met a girl whilst traveling thru Croatia who had contacted a Moscow hostel (didn't give name)
and after booking couple of nights was emailed an invitation which together with an itenary
presented it to Russian Consulate in Canberra to obtain a tourist visa!!!!!
Any VT folk done simalar in Australia or their own country
Want to know is this a possible way to get into Russia

I'd like to go to an outdoor market if possible. As well as visit the Kremlin, etc. If there are any football matches, I'd be interested too. Thanks in advance!

Is bottled water easily available ? as I understand tap water is unsafe to drink in Russia

I will come to St. Petersburg the two first weeks in July. Does anybody know if there are any nice beaches in or around St. Petersburg? How is the water quality and the temperature in the water?
