I'm trying to remember where on this island I purchased Olivia Hand Cream. We'll be visiting there next week and I would like to purchase several more tubes made by a Greek company called Papoutsanis. I remember we walked up and around the shopping area. The shop had a large assortment of Olivia products. Directions to this shop would be great.
I am currently staying on Chalidon Street, Chania Town, would anyone care to join me and my camera on a Winter Photowalk in and around Chania Town as I would like to be part of a group? I have already attended a painting class in Plaka, a Xmas Fayre in Almyrida, a visit to the ancient site of Aptera, a classical concert in Chania, a charity music evening with English bands in Malame. So join me, you know you'll have fun.
Chalidon Street is a good starting point at the Fountain opposite Starbucks.
Hope to see you soon!

I am planning to take the morning train from Athens to Kalambaka on December 16th. I will get to Kalambaka at 1pm and the train back to athens will be at 5pm. I only have four hours for the monasteries. Can I do this? I don't mind going to only one or two monasteries and just get a view of the others. How long would it take my by walking/hiking/taxi to get to a good spot for the monasteries? Thank you.
Hello guys, I have a few questions..
1) As I'm going to Santorini in the future maybe Mid Dec, (I know this is not the best time but this is the chance as I want to experience Santorini firsthand and opportunities like this doesn't come too often), is there any ferries service from Piraeus to Santorini on daily basis? Is it safe? Are the schedules reliable this time of the year? Bcs flight is kinda expensive and I want save a few bucks
2) Accomodation. I personally loved Scirocco Hotel but I understand they're closed (damn!) during Nov/Dec so what are my best substitute for them? In terms of location and style (you know, those blue and white washed walls and great view of houses left, right, down). I'm really looking up to stay a place which are surrounded by other hotels but with a good direct seaview of course. Maybe something around 100Euro per night? I looked at several sights but sometimes the photos are a deceiving.
3) I noticed that there are none halal certified restaurants around Santorini, so I should go on vege diet or seafood (which is just as great), so can you guys suggest a few reasonable seafood joints in Fira.
4) Is there a way I could come from Istanbul to Athens by train? And from Santorini to Turkey via ferries? Is it a good option?
5)Thinking of spending 2D1N in Santorini, what should I really do for a first timer?
I know its quite a lot so to those who are willing to help hopefully God can repay your kindness or something like that. Thanks in advance!
Can you tell me if there are any local organizations that help with homestay information? Do you know of anyone that would like to host a few excited and interesting Californians with an Olympic athlete in the games? Look up Victor Plata under www.teamkinesys.com and you will see why we are so proud. Or you can help us get there by going onto the internet under friendsforathletes.com. Thanks for your help with this quest
Myself and three of my family are traveling to watch my son race in the Triathlon on August 26th, in your city. He just made the US Olympic Triathlon team. His name is Victor Plata. We have supported him for the past ten years while he trained and prepared to reach his dream. Now, we are having trouble finding a place to stay. How would I go about finding a place for us from the 20th of August until the 30th of August? Please pass this email on to others or let me know where I can get information. Thanks for your help.
