i will be in Vilnius just for a day.is there a luggage storage somewhere in town and what to see in 1day?

It is possible to leave luggage at bus or train stations (these are nearby) or in airport (this cost you more than in bus or train station). There are a few options going to - from airport. One is taking bus nr. 2 to station "Opera" (city center) or taking a fast train "Airport - bus station". If you arrive or leave at night, it is better to use taxi (if you order by calling taxi is much cheaper than catching in the street). Look to my Vilnius page to get idea about sightseeing.

Besides buses or taxis, it is also possible to get to the airport by train from main station, travel time is only 7 min, while price is 2,5 LTL. Really convenient when you leave your luggage at the train station, then just go up to the platform and board your train
Regarding what to see in Vilnius - old town is a must, also can take a walk by the river, during nice weather it's pretty good
