      Nice Apr 29, 2013 at 1:36 PM

      Hi all,

Group of young women visiting Nice early July and hoping to stay in a central location close to shops, historic/cultural sites, bars/restaurants in the evening and relatively easy access to a beach. Will only be staying for two nights so would prefer to spend less time travelling and more time doing and making the most of the town.

What areas would you recommend - so far I have been recommended 'Promenade des anglais' or the 'old town'?

      Kind Regards

      Electric car rental

      Aix-en-Provence May 9, 2013 at 1:08 AM

hello! i'm renting a car for my trip in Provence and I have 2 qns..

      1. I'm taking a train from Paris and arriving at Aix-en-Provence TGV. Is there a difference between Aix-En-Provence TGV and Aix-En-Provence Gare TGV? Is this the same place?

Reason i'm asking is because I was on autoeurope and there were 2 stations under Aix-en-Provence TGV. Strange.

      2. Is it practical to rent an electric car? (Citroen C-Zero). Its a lot cheaper but i'm just wondering if i'll have any issues with the charging, especially if we're driving from village to village.. not sure how accessible are charging stations over in Provence.

Any help would be hugely appreciated, thanks!

by dansyourman Online Now May 8, 2012 at 5:10 AM

Going to Villefranche this Thursday (10th May) - My idea of transfer from Nice airport to Villefranche would simply be to get a bus from the airport to the train station in Nice and then get a train to Villefranche (our apartment is only a short walk from Villefranche station). However it seems there are different ways of doing this journey. A taxi is out because they are far too expensive. Any advice ?

by 76allan76 Online Now May 3, 2010 at 8:26 AM

Good morning, I will be taking a trip to Villefranche-Sur-Mer in June and had a few questions. First, we will be taking a day trip to Monte Carlo, and I was wondering if I will be allowed to take my camera into the beautiful casino there? In America, cameras are not allowed in casinos. If I can't take my camera in, will there be storage so I can go in without my camera? Also, I am not rich... Am I going to look like an idiot if I go into the casino and try to play blackjack for 10 to 20 Euros per hand? I do not know the table minimums there. Second, my girlfriend really wants to take a day trip into Italy, and I was hoping someone knew the best places to go that would still be close enough to VSM to go and come back in one day. Thanks for all the help. I appreciate it. Allan
