We are going on a med cruise and the first stop is Villefranche. Can we get to Monte Carlo under our own steam or is it best to go on an organised trip?
I am arriving in Nice Airport at around 11.30 a.m. What are the options for getting to Villefranche - I've heard taxis can be very expensive?
WE will be arriving on the 7th of May on a cruise and want to see Nice. What is the best and most reliable way to get there from the port. And where is a nice place to eat and walk around?

Has anyone had experience with a private guide from the port in Villafranche to Nice, Eze,Monaco, and Monte Carlo? There will be six adults sailing on RCCL in early September.
We are going to Villefranche in Aug on Ocean Village, we have a three year old with us, can you give us some advice re: train etc that I believe runs around the area.
