How can I get from Vigo in Galicia to Sarria? Cost of bus? Is it possible to hire a car and driver. Time would be end of may
You have buses from Vigo to Lugo (empresa Gomez de castro) and from Lugo to Sarria (empresa Monforte SA). Train from Vigo to Monforte de Lemos, change there to a train to Lugo that stops at Sarria.

There are basically 2 ways of getting from Vigo to Sarria using public transport. Route 1 Vigo -Santiago - Lugo - Sarria. Route 2 Vigo- Monforte – Sarria. Route 1 Take a bus or train between Vigo and Santiago. Bus to Lugo and bus to Sarria. http://www.renfe.com/ monbus.es/horarios/consulta.... http://www.empresafreire.com monbus.es/horarios/consulta.... Route 2 Take a bus or train between Vigo and Monforte. Bus from Monforte to Sarria. http://www.renfe.com/ vibasa.com/lineas_vibasa.php... Trains run less often than buses. Trains can be a bit more expensive than buses. The websites I have given links to are not always easy to navigate so you may have to do a bit of research of your own.
