Well, i don't know if it is the best thing to do but it is certainly nice to hang around in Crisologo street admiring the old spanish buildings and visiting the souvenir shops. I also found Crisologo museum an enjoyable experience seeing all the old wooden furniture. Some people might consider the best thing to do is to stuff your face with 5 or 6 freshly made empanada-- i certainly enjoyed doing so.

The best thing to do in Vigan is to take photo's. I love to take photo especially antiques or old things. Get around the city and you will experience the life of living during the Spanish period in the Philippines. I love the people of Vigan, they are very hospitable, honest and charming.

Go take photos and make sure to take MANY photos!I learned a lot about the history of my country, the Philippines when I went to Vigan! The Philippines is not just about the scenic tourist spots but historical spots as well. Plus you can see Filipinos who love to take pictures wherever they go. I find it fun and cool because other tourists dont like to take lots of pictures, only the important once. Just watch the Bogart video (http://bit.ly/NJvukM) to find out what i'm referring to.

Oh, I remembered the calesa ride I had in Vigan because I saw it in the video. The calesa driver took us around Vigan to the old buildings and roads. He warmly welcomed us and he was funny. He was joking with us. Why not try it?

Hi! I enjoyed riding the kalesa in Vigan too! That was one of my memorable experiences there. Good thing the kalesa driver was very patient with us since we wanted to stop in some locations because we wanted to take pictures. The kalesa driver even offered to take our pictures.
