hi! pls. help me map out my itenerary going to ilocos? will arrive on feb 15, around 5pm @ laoag then depart by feb 17 same time... we have 2 day and 2 nights to spend. should we: 1.go directly to vigan, visit calle crisologo ( til what time are they open btw?) then stay there overnight? then off to pagudpud the following day? 2. visit the sites in laoag upon arriving then stay for the night, then off to pagudpud, bangui and kurimaw rock formation? then will go to vigan on our last day? your reply will be of great help..please enlighten me! ..include where to stay as well..thanks
Calle Crisologo is open the whole night but the museums and other sites in Vigan won't be (eg Baluarte, Syquia museum, etc.). I'd go for Vigan first and try to visit the other sites in the morning (Baluarte, museums, Bantay church, etc.) on your way to Pagudpud. Your second night should be in Pagudpud. Try to visit the places between Vigan and Laoag (paoay church, marcos house and mausoleum in batac) then proceed to Pagudpud without passing thru the sites in Laoag so you can still enjoy the beach in the afternoon. Leave early morning in Pagudpud and try to visit the sites between Pagudpud and Laoag (Bangui windmills, rock formation and the cape bojeador lighthouse, sinking bell tower in Laoag). Then off you go with your flight back to Manila.

Partas has a sleeper bus to Laoag. However, I'm not sure if they pick up passengers in Vigan on the way to Manila. more
