Hi, Can i obtain a visa at the airport upon the arraival? any one know what are the requirments? i have european passport (cyprus) Thnx
Hi, Yes you can get a visa at the airport but only pre-arranged by a tour company or similar, can't be done just by arriving with passport, photos and cash in hand. Whoever does it for you will e-mail you a form that you'll fill in and send back (this for every person in your group). Once presented to the authorities they will send you back the authorisation to get your visa at the airport. Also can only be done at Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang airports.

There is a difference between visa on arrival (VOA) and an e-visa. A VOA means you just show up at an airport or land border with no pre-approval and simply pay for a visa. Vietnam does NOT have this. Vietnam has an e-visa scheme. You pre-apply through an agency, they get approval and e-mail you either a copy, or a reference number, then you get the sticker once you arrive. Some agencies are: http://www.vietnamvisa.com/ https://www.e-travelvietnam.com/visa.asp

As a dane i do not need a visa for Vietnam if i stay less than 15 days. I just arrive to Vietnam by air and get a stamp. Have done that 5 times in the past year. So far this has only been for a few selected nationalities, but one of my business colleges in Vietnam told me that the list of countries with no visa for less than 15 days will be extended this year, so try and see if your country is on the list. That is only if you stay less than 15 days of course.

Hello, it is simple to pick up the entry visa on arrival in Vietnam. You should contact any local tour agent for this (Hanoi tourist or Vietnam Tourist company …), send them full information on yourself (full names, date of birth, gender, nationality, passport number and its expired date). They will help you to do all procedure and send you the code of visa approval after that. The fee is 8 USD, 10 USD, 15 USD or more, depending on the number of customers and the profit of the tour agent, sometimes even FOC (e.g: anasiatravel.com) . You can keep this paper with 1 your photo and the stamping fee o 25 USD (single entry visa) or 50 USD (multi-entry visa) while coming to Vietnam. Good luck !
