ERASMUS IN VIENNA

Hello! I am concidering of taking a semester in Vienna (the spring semester of 2013)as an exchange student in the University of VIENNA and I would like some info! Is Vienna recommended as an erasmus city or is it too big since it is the capital city of Austria? In addition, is it very expensive and what about student life and nightlife? Finally, does anybody know if there are courses in English or is it only in German? I am intrested in the facultu of Law! :)
