Hi I am going to Viareggio for part of my honeymoon in August and I was wondering if anyone had any "must haves" for what we could do while we are there? We are not really beach people so anythign else really! Thanks
August will be crowded almost everywhere. I would recommend going to Lucca by train where you can either stoll along the intact city walls (very romantic and beautiful) or rent bikes and ride along the walls. Cinque Terre is quite beautiful too but will be overrun with tourists in August.

Lucca looks v nice actually and so will definately look into that. I think Im a bit unfit t be riding bikes in the sweletring heat! Thanks for your hel. Katy xx
