Hi everyone, Does anyone know whether I could use my eurail pass to get from Versailles to Florence? I am planning to stay 5 days in paris and on the last day, go to versaille in the morning and then take an overnight train from versaille to Florence. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
There is no "Versailles to Florence" night train. There is one nighttrain that leaves Paris Bercy at 19:06, so you could make your way there and take that train. If you want to use a eurail pass you will still need to make a reservation and pay a supplement for the accomodation. But what you plan is certainly possible, and not a bad use of your time.

It depends on the time of year also. In late Fall and winter the gardens are not as nice as in Spring, summer and early... more
