How much does it cost to travel by metro or train to Versailles from downtown Paris?

I believe it's 2.70 euros one way to the Rive Gauche station. At any rate, the station is in zone 4. You can check itineraries and prices at ratp.info/informer/anglais/i...

Hi, i am julien from versaille, France. the ticket cost around 3 euros. You have 2 possibilites : take the RER C to versailles rive Gauche or the most quick, you take the train in Montparnasse. There are direct train to Versailles Chantier (15 minutes). Bon séjour, Julien
