My hosts near Verona recommend I bring a sleeping bag to use at their house. I do not really want to travel with a sleeping bag. I would rather buy a cheap, warm blanket I will use while I am with them and give it to them when I leave.

I want to leave a review for a restaurant/café in Piazza delle Erbe but I just cant remember what it was called! Does anyone live in Verona or maybe a tourist with better memory than me? I´ve been googling for about an hour now and cant find anything!

How can I send a bag from Verona to Belluno?
We are planning a visit to Verona at the end of October with the family. My questions are the following:
1) What sort of weather should we expect around that time of the year? Is it usually still pleasant (with mild temperatures, only jumpers needed etc.), or do we need our coats, should we expect rain etc? What are evenings like?
2) If we want to visit some places around Verona, should we opt for train or bus? (Alternatively, should we consider renting a car?) Which is the most reasonable means of transport, as far as prices are concerned? By the way, are prices the same if we purchase the tickets in advance?
3) What about student discount (museums, public transportation etc.) in Italy? Can our children get reduced prices, or is this not so widespread in Italy?
