Can anyone tell me what the towns of Cinque Terre are like during Christmas? My friend and I plan to fly to Nice, stay a couple of days there, then take the train on to Cinque Terre for 3 days. Need information on reasonable places to stay, good restaurants and "must see" places. Open to any and all suggestions to make this trip memorable and fun.

Hi! I stayed in Manarola also and I think it was a good choice, but you can't really go wrong since they are all pretty amazing - although I would not recommend Monterosso because it's too big and lacks the charm of the other quattro terre! The must see for me is the path that connects all cinque terre. I'm not sure how it is to do it in December but during the summer it was amazing. The views are breath taking! Enjoy, Miguel
