New Years near Woodstock??

We two middle-aged couples are staying in Woodstock (Lincoln Inn) for a few days around New Years Eve. We are not skiers. Any recommendations for daily activities in the area?? We'll eat dinner at the Inn once or twice but recs. for nearby restaurants for lunch and other dinner are also appreciated. Thanks
