Hi all, I hired yoga retreat in mexico for the week 20 to July 27 and would like to find someone who is going too to this retreat or want to sign up for this yoga trip with me, I've alredy booked it and I travel by my own, the date is arriving and I would rather have a benchmark for my first trip alone. I'm new at this yoga retreats and also in going to Mexico. I do yoga regularly and I really wanted this experience, but in my circle, no one has vacation that week, so I decided to do the yoga trip alone, because I found very special the idea of doing yoga among Mayan ruins. I have 24 years old, I'm working as a physiotherapist and I'm very quiet and easy anywhere, so if anyone is encouraged to travel or are already signed up for this yoga retreat in mexico, we can put contact to plan. Also if anyone can give me advice about the destination, the company or what you may believe that can be useful, is welcome. Hi, just beginning to plan my next trip. I've decided I want to return to Mexico and I've always wanted to do this train journey. We will have 5 or 6 weeks in Mexico. However, it will need to be Jan, Feb, though the exact dates are flexible. I'm just concerned about the weather at that time. I understand it might be a bit cold. Has anyone done this trip at that time of year? I'm still working on my itinerary but I definitely want to do the train, spend some time in La Paz,, Espiritu Santo, Mazatlan, Zacatecas, and possibly Guanajuato and Morelia. I'm not sure which way round to do it and whether to make a return trip on the train, stopping off on the way. I'd welcome any suggestions of what not to miss. I like walking, photographing birds etc and snorkelling, plus a bit of culture too. I speak pretty good Spanish and have travelled in Central and South America in the past.

I am planning on driving to Veracruz from Brownsville, TX in a couple of weeks. Has anyone driven it lately? Is it best to drive to Cuidad Victoria on the toll road or cut off on 180 before you get there. Also is it best to go to Tihuatlan and then over to the toll road that goes around Poza Rica versus staying on 180 into Tuxpam and picking up the toll road there? Any info on this coastal route will be helpful.

Hi, can somebody help me to figure out about how much it will cost me to travel from Mexico to Vera Cruz. And Perhaps tell me with wich company I can travel. I try to get informations on internet but they are not matching. One time I get the info that it would cost about 25$ (first class) and on the buses home pages I get about 330$. I have heard horror stories about the coast road from the Texas Border to Vera Cruz, is there any truth to it. I am familiar with driving in mexico as we have been to mostly central highland area ( Guanajanto. Querteraro, Michoacan, Patzcuaro, the colonial cities) mostly by toll Road. Can you get to Vera Cruz without going to Mexico City, via toll roads?
