change location

pink alligators

Does anyone know what these are for? They were placed over doorways of various businesses in Venice.

    Well, I imagine that they are crocodiles (alligators being North American, I think), but see statesman.com/travel/content... for one suggestion of what they are...

    Bill, I think s/he is talking about Venice, California, so they probably are alligators.

    Well, then, it's all the more amusing that someone has gone around placing pink crocodiles over doorways in Venice, Italy...coincidence??? ;-)

    Wondering the same thing but for Venice Italy - as Bill says, they are all over the place in the Italian Venice
