Does anyone know what these are for? They were placed over doorways of various businesses in Venice.
Well, I imagine that they are crocodiles (alligators being North American, I think), but see statesman.com/travel/content... for one suggestion of what they are... Bill

Bill, I think s/he is talking about Venice, California, so they probably are alligators.

Could be Venice, Florida. Lots of alligators there.

Well, then, it's all the more amusing that someone has gone around placing pink crocodiles over doorways in Venice, Italy...coincidence??? ;-) Bill
