Hi. How much do local bus tickets cost and where do you get them?
To Venice or somewhere else?

I understand that to get to Venice you have to take a local bus first (I vaguely remember that someone spoke about bus no 3) as Jesolo is 15 km long. That's what I meant or have i gotten it completely wrong?

you have to get as bus from Lido to Jesolo to Punta Sabbiobi, where you get the boat across the lagoon to Venice. Now I can't tell you the price, though the boat is likely to cost about 3 to 4 euro. I pay a local concessionary price; next time I go, i'll ytr and find out.

Hi Ive just returned from jesolo and used the buses nearly every day!. You can buy the bus ticket from "tabacchi" shops (sweet shops) in the resort. They are marked by a large "T" sign outside. thats the easiest way to buy them. you have all sorts..short trips from 2 euros which takes you to the friday market at jesolo. I used the 19.60 euro ticket(24 hour) to get me from jesolo to punta sabioni to venice, then i could use all the waterbuses in venice for the day. Then i got another a few days later to visit Burano,Murano,San michele,Lido and used ferry between punta sabioni and venice and land buses to and from jesolo. there are other types shorter or longer hours. when you first use the ticket,"stamp" it using the machine on the bus..this prints a time on your ticket..this is when your valid ticket time starts.dont forget to do this or you could face a fine.I was staying at the far end of jesolo (the quieter end!) and had to get a bus to the station then to punta sabioni then on a ferry to venice.. this journey took roughly 2 hours there and back! if all connections are on time!
