Hi all, I am visiting Malcesine next week and was planning to get the bus from the airport. However it looks like there is only one bus on a Sunday. Does anyone know if this is correct? Many thanks Sara

We would arriving from Milano - Venice at I suppose it would be 9 pm,, we then have the next full day to explore the city with over night stay . Want advice for :-
1) which train station to get down? would arriving at 9 pm be safe ?
2) should I book a hotel near train station ,so easier to check-in check-out (want to take train next day for Florence
3)what sightseeing is recommend ( i think this is just answered in previous thread )
4) there is an option of booking an apartment @ 50 euro at a place ...in area -- Via Terraglio, Mogliano Veneto, Veneto 31021, would that be a good option ??

My son and his girlfriend will be taking a day trip to Venice from Milan. Their wish is to take a Gondola ride.
The cost for a 40 minute ride is 80 Euro for 1 to 6 people. How easy is it to find 2 other couples to share the ride
with to defray the cost? Their dates are flexible and will be between Dec 30 to Jan 2, 2013/14

My son is an American studying music in Duino, Italy. He purchased a camera in the United States before he left and he is now in need of an additional SD Card for a small Nikon. Do you have any stores that you could recommend that would carry the item at a reasonable cost?

I would be grateful if anyone has any hints or suggestions for getting from Milan Bergamo to Bella Italia. Am considering hiring a car but thats looking expensive. Have also been suggested to get a transfer from Bergamo to Brescia but dont know how I would get to the campsite from there? Any advice welcome!

How do I get from Marco Polo Airport Venice to Hotel Palladio, Via Malcontenta 40, Marghera, Mestre, VE, 30175 by bus?
From the airport do I have to get the bus to Venice first? If so dose any one know the bus number? Then from the Venice terminal dose any one know the bus number I need to get to the Hotel ?

how do I get from Mestre to Mansuè by train/bus? looking for family.

Are there 2 different train that go from Milan Central to Peschiera del garda because when I look up train times and fares it seems that one takes just over an hour and the other takes about 1 hour 40 mins but is cheaper? I want to go for the cheaper option but cant get much information. Also does anyone know if its cheaper to book online or at the Train station?

I just returned from Venice, Italy where I had purchased an adorable Gondolier Tshirt for my 2year old grandson. When I got home, the shirt was too small! I want to purchase another one for him but I cannot find an online website that sells these shirts. These are the blue & white striped shirts with gold embroidered "Venezia Italia" on them. Best way to get from Hotel Astoria in Malcesine to Venice using bus and train in 1st week in June 2013?

We are arriving on a train into Venezia Mestre which arrives at 3.00am, and want to get to a hotel close to Venezia Saint Lucia. But Saint Lucia is closed at night so can't use the shuttle service between the two stations. Any suggestions on how we can get there at night.

My husband and I are flying into Venice and plan on taking a water taxi to our hotel (hotel becher). We depart for Florence from the St Lucia train station. Where is the train station located? Is it back by the airport or can we walk from our hotel around st marks square? We are going on our first holiday to Lake Garda at the end of May and are staying in the town of Bardolino. Can someone advise us of some nice places to visits nearby and are accessible by bus rather than the expensive ferries.

I can find a website with the ferries time table but cannot find any prices. I believe they are very expensive, can somebody advise me please.
