We are planning to travel to Sofia for New Year's holidays, so we will do the most of sightseeing on 1th and 2nd of January.
I am worried that most important places in Sofia (St.George church, St.Sofia church, National Art Gallery, Zoo and public building interesting to see) will be closed for the days. So I would like to hear from Sofia people if that is a good moment to visit Sofia and whether we will find all doors closed.
Also, does Sofia officials tend to organize New Year's Eve public celebration on some of central squares
Thank you for the time!
I'll be in Velingrad end of July with a friend - early 30ies both of us. Any suggestions, any restaurants/clubs that are "must see" this year? Or anything else worth trying? All ideas highly appreciated. Thanks
