Hello all Planning my first ever trip to Novgorod and am curious about how many monuments, museums and memorials to the Great Patriotic War, the Siege of Leningrad, Afghanistan etc that I may find there? If anyone could recommend unusual stuff like this, i'd love to hear about it. Thank you all! I'm going to be putting a similar post in the St P and Moscow sections so it might appear to be a trible post. Cheers guys! DG
Hello all From the online research I have done, I take it there is no train line running between these 2 cities? :) I'm planning to spend 2 nights here. Is that enough? It's hardly too much? :) If you could advise the best transport routes between here and St P, I would be most grateful Thank you all DG
I am planning on bringing a group to Novgorod in late November and I was wondering which of these two restaurants would be better for dinner: Hol'mgard or Detinets? I prefer an old charming restaurant that would impress my group, but I am open to your opinion. Any help is appreciated!
Is it possible to take a one day trip to Novgorod from Saint Petersburg and have time enough to visit the town calmly? Bus? Train? Rent a car?
I would like to know how much it will cost to stay at this hotel for 13 nights just me and my wife. Arriving 26/12/06 leaving 08/01/07. Thank you, John & Lena Granger
