Is there a certain day of the week when the pope comes out for sighting or mass?
When the Pope is in town, he is normally predictably in public 2 times a week - 1. The General Audience on Wednesday mornings (in the Piazza in the summer and in good weather, in the Audience Hall in the winter). 2. At noon on Sundays, when he appears at his apartment window overlooking the Piazza and says the Angelus. He does not normally say Mass in the Basilica for the public, except on special occasions. However, you can follow his schedule of public events in Rome at vatican.va/various/prefettur... It looks like he's in town for all 5 Wednesdays in June as well as saying Mass around town several times... Bill
