I am looking for webistes where I may order from actual stores selling Vatican City Stamped jewelry charms, crosses, medals and etc. Like I purchased at the Basilica. I have found a few stores, but not actually blessed or stamped. Many of my family would like to have one like I purchased at the basilica gift shop. I didn't anticipate the amount of family wanting one! EEEK! But, they seem impossible to find. Unfortunately, I won't be able to travel back for probably another 2-3 years. Anyone, have links??? Hmmmn, I have been unable to find any online presence for the Vatican gift shops. This is perhaps because they scarcely need to do it, since there are quite a number of private enterprises right outside the Vatican who would be happy to do it. One company that has been across the street (literally) from the Vatican for over 100 years is Savelli - see savellireligious.com/index.p... . It appears that have have every item you might want. They even claim to be able to get Papal Blessings, but I am a bit dubious about this - isn't this what got the Church in trouble with Martin Luther at the start of the Protestant Reformation? ;-) (i.e., 'simony' - buying and selling church offices and favors). Well, my grandmother had a proclamation or something like it on her wall for many years from the Vatican, maybe that's what it is. Check out their link on Papal Blessings - it's a fill-in form, so you can ask them what they mean. I have no personal knowledge of their online operation (I assume I've been in the store, but it's been a while)...
