christmas eve mass

can someone tell me how to reserve "seats" for the christmas eve mass in st peters square? i have emailed the vatican but not received a reply yet, and hate to miss this opportunity. thanks for any help you can offer

    I did this about 20 years ago. At that time tickets were available in an office at the Vatican. Free, but you had to go in person and pick them up, which I did on Dec 23. Get over to the Vatican as soon as you get to Rome.
