Any cheap Kayak whale watching??

Hi, hopefully I will make it to Vancouver and am on a budget. I would really like to go whale watching preferably in a Kayak, are there any cheap tours, parties??? Im a compitent kayaker if that helps? so far ive seen a trip including camping for £500 (Can$700-800) many thanks rich

The price as quoted is cheap. Also-you do realise those trips leave from northern Vancouver Island-a day's journey from the city of Vancouver. Also-there is no guarantee you'll be anywhere near and Orcas-they move all the time/never seem to sleep.
