I remember something like 2:45-3:00 by bus, each way, but i was long time ago. take advantage to taste the both rice plates paella valenciana y arroces alicantinos

I made it by bus and by train. By bus it's about 3 hours and by train it seems less, about 2 hours. I also suggest you to check out about renting a car. It'll take the same time of Bus but with the car you can go and visit other places like Murcia (that is about 1 hour trip) or Cartagena

By bus 2.30 hours, 37.05€ (return) www.alsa.es By train about 1.40 hours, 45 € by Euromed (I recommend it). Check www.renfe.es. You may find Alacant-terminal instead of Alicante. check my page for things to do and other tips: La casa de la primavera - Alicante, Spain
