    • What to wear?

      Chamonix-Mont-Blanc May 22, 2013 at 7:21 PM

We will be in Chamonix in early June and plan to hike Lac Blanc and also take the Aiguille du Midi cable car. Can anyone tell us what we will need to wear? We were thinking--hiking boots, fleece, down vest and a shell jacket, gloves and a hat. We are worried that will not be warm enough. Should we bring winter jackets? Thanks

      Grenoble to Val-d'Isere?

by gilescorey Online Now Feb 13, 2012 at 12:23 PM

Hi everyone, Looking at skiing Tignes/Val d'Isere for the first time Easter week. I was wondering how the drive is from Grenoble? I'm trying to save some cash, and being a holiday week it's a bit pricey. Or any other ideas or satellite areas I should consider staying? Thanks, GC
