Hi guys does any one know if there is daily transport from uyuni to La Paz?
Hi, from Uyuni to La Paz you have bus (12 hs), plain (1 h) and train to Oruro and bus to La Paz from there. bus: uyunipanasur.com/inside/inde... daily frequency plain: http://www.amaszonas.com/ train to Oruro and bus to la Paz train: fca.com.bo/contenido.php?sec... and bus Oruro from La Paz... no links but there is a bus each hour as I know I will be there from 19 to 21/2 , that's all I found about this, Except by the plain and train (for train buy the ticket 1 day before) is not recommended that you do a reservation, Bolivia has their own time and maybe the excursions will be late and other things so just buy your ticket when you're ready to go (this is what a friend told me about Bolivia) best regards Gustavo

Gustavo's information is much more current than mine. When I was there, it was a 7 hour train ride from Uyuni to Oruro, and a 3.5 hour bus ride from Oruro to La Paz. The train did not run every day. The flight from Uyuni to La Paz started since I was there. I have seen people mention it in this forum. I don't think it runs daily either.
