I'm currently in Buenos Aires and planning out the best way to see the salt flats. I am considering doing SALTA - PURMAMARCA - HUMUAHACA - UYUNI ... But I'm unsure of the buses. What is the transportation like from SALTA - UYUNI. How long is it? Or would it be easier to go from SAN ATACAMA DESERT in Chile to UYUNI? Thanks for your help

It is certainly an option to leave the tour near the Chilean border and enter through the Atacama. Or it was when I was... more
that's unfortunate. you'll have to take a bus there too. more
