A friends of mine lives in Uvira and I would like to visit him. Europeean governmemts do not suggest any trip. What is the real situation at present ? Merci Marco
Do not travel to Uvira!! Didn't your firend tell you that this is a non-family duty station, where humanitarian workers are not allowed to bring their families due to the state of insecurity, that thousands of peacekeepers are there to guard the area, that humanitarian workers have strict rules to follow in terms of security, etc.. This is a rebel held area, not a tourist destination.
