I have done that tour on the large catamaran in November and from the ship we just saw very few penguins: "the penguin island close to Haberton" - Tierra del Fuego Off The Beaten Path Tip by globetrott Maybe Piratour is the right company for you: "getting to Haberton by "Pira-tour"" - Puerto Harberton Transportation Tip by globetrott

I've used Pira tours, the only company that takes you actually onto the island. Here is my reveiw: "Walk with Penguins!" - Ushuaia Things to Do Tip by blueskyjohn I highly recommend. Best part of Ushuaia
