I`m student and I will come with my wife to Uppsala in January. I need a flat for whole semester from January to June. I`m not interested in hostels of sexchange-stuents , i`m looking for something private. Does anyone has something to offer or recommend? Does anyone know that kind of newspaper in Uppsala, where I could advertise? Thanks!

I'm not sure what kind of study program you're in, but if it's a formal exchange program the university (Uppsala Universitet or SLU) should be responsible for your accomodation. Otherwise you could try the university's housing department: maria.ahlbom@akademihotellet.uu.se for uppsala universitet. Studentstaden is the main housing agent for students in uppsala, though they may also have apartments and not just student rooms. I know where I live (Kantorsgatan) is a studentstaden complex but it has also 2-bedroom flats and not all of us who live here are students. www.studentstaden.se They were just some ideas, and you can also try googling "fastigheter uppsala" (real estate uppsala) to get more websites of real estate agents.
