Can anyone recommend any reasonable priced airport hotels at London Gatwick Hotel?
My friend wants to know the best transportation for travelling between both airports? How long would it usually take?

Other than Cardiff and Swansea, what sights should I see when driving around Wales. Mainly I am interested in picturesque villages.
I will arrive on July, on a Sunday at 12: 25 pm. Then I have to take my next flight ( I bought it separately) to Germany at Terminal 5, at 15:10 hrs.. Will I have the time? Or I better change my ticket to next departure that is at 19:00 hrs.
Thank you very much for your answer. I am coming from México, then Dallas, then to London. I am Mexican.
I will be visiting the lake district with my family for about three nights at the start of June (We have a 3 year old and an 8 month old)
Can anyone recommend some excellent accomodation near any of the lakes? We visited Bowness-on-Windermere briefly last year and were enchanted.
Budget is a consideration & self catering is fine, but our main desires are cleanliness, scenery and hopefully the likes of a rustic log fire!
Thanks for your help folks.
this is really short notice....but could you please offer some suggestions of places to visit or things to do with a 4 year old?
The more active, the better....she's not one for passive activities. And also ....don't include the zoo...we've had enough of animals with our safari to woburn today.
Thanks in advance :0
What is the best to use in London for a stay of 6-7 days, the Oyster pass or the Travel card for the public transportation
Hi , I'm going to be in England this summer for a summer camp and I was thinking about visiting Scotland but I'll only have a weekend to do this trip. I was planning to take a train from London to Edinburgh on Friday and come back on Sunday. But I'd also like to see Highlands as well, so is it possible for me to take another train to Inverness from Edinburgh after a day in Edinburgh ?
To sum up I'm planning :
-London-Edinburgh [ Thursday afternoon via train (It's 4.5 hours I guess ? ) ]
Friday : Edinburgh
- Edinburgh-Inverness [ Friday night via train ( 3.5 - 4 hours ? )
Saturday : Inverness ( Loch Ness? , Cawdor Castle? , Highland Wildlife Park?, Eilean Donan Castle ? )
- Inverness-London [ Sunday morning via train ]
So what do you think ? Is it possible ? Any suggestions ?
( by the way I'm 16 years old and going to get a BritRailYouthPass )

Hi, I am a single mother to a 4 year old boy and i would love to move to Ireland. My Grandads parents were born there and he visited Ireland when they left and he always said i should go! So ever since i can remember i have wanted to live in Ireland. I currently live in Blyth which is near Newcastle and i hate it here. I would love somewhere that has a decent school so my son could have a good education and that is walking distance from a town etc so i could find work (which is hard to find wherever you go) I don't want to be in a big city like Newcastle, the population of Blyth is 35,818 which is the kind of size i would like to move to. I am looking for a fresh start in life and i have always wanted to live in Ireland and would love my son to grow up there. I have read a lot on different forums and some people ask about religion etc but i don't really think its a problem anymore according to what i have read from other people. I would really appreciate any information i can get as i really want to choose the right place. Also if there is anywhere that i should not move to i would appreciate the feedback on that as well. Also if i wanted to go out of the UK and move to the Republic Of Ireland what would i have to do?
Thank you all for your time!
My wife would like to go to Scotland for two days (from London) as she heard that it is very quaint and that there are nice castles there. Does anyone know if there are areas near London with similar topography and architecture (old castles etc). Any input would be greatly appreciated.
My BF and I are going to London in June and we would like to visit some places out of the usual touristic circuit, local pubs, public places and parks. Any suggestions?
We are a group of 4 adults and 3 kids wanting to goto Isle of Wight. We will be travelling by a rental mini-Van. I have three questions a) considering that I will half a day, can you help me filter out the best ones to visit b) place that will be very scenic to have some photo memories and c) Am I need to be concerned about mini van size - is it easy to onboard, park and take it out of the ferry. I have gone to this place 13 years ago but with a small car and could not remember much from that trip except that I went and returned to/from that lovely place.
What is the distance from the Perthshire town center to Gleneagles Hotel? Is it accessible by public transportation?
Appreciate any information regarding the area (places of interest, good value accommodations (80-100 Euros).
Will be arriving in London June 20th for 4 days before moving on to Paris. would like to spend
most of the time in countryside instead of the city. Thinking if renting car..potential problems. There are 4 adults traveling. Which areas would you recommend. Want leisure drive. Recommendations for lodging.
We have a group of 4 arriving in London Heathrow airport with 4 lugguages. Is one taxi in London able to accomodate all 4 of us with the lugguages or do we have to take 2 taxies? Also, anyone can advise roughly how much it will cost?
My BA flight is 10 pm. Can I check-in as early as 2 pm in the afternoon?
We're going to rent a car in England and this time would like to use the friendly navigation voice. Renting one with the car is another £60 or so per week, so we're thinking of buying a new one here in Germany and taking it with us.We have to get a new one anyway and will make sure it has all the British maps , but I'm not sure it it will work. Are they compatible? The ones here are stuck in the cigarette lighter, is this the same in English cars?
That's probably a stupid question, but I never paid any attention if there is a cigarette lighter in a car or not.
Thank you for your help.
