We were planning on going to Assisi from Rome on the 1st of November, then in the evening going over to Florence. However I have just noticed that November 1st is All Saints Day. Would this change anything? Will places be closed? Will there be too much of a crowd? Also is a day enough for Assisi?

When we visited Orvieto both times we ate at a restaurant just off the magnificent church piazza. As you go further into Orvieto the restaurant was on the left side. I wish I could remember the name! Any help?

Traveling to assisi the 20th of September. This question would be more for the women of the group. Undecided what to pack, short sleeves, long sleeves, sweaters, pants, dresses, coats, hot, cold, fall? What is the cost of taxi from Orvieto to Civita d Agliano? No rental cars are available.
We will be coming in from The Sabina Hills where we will be staying and would like a one day moderate hike in the Sibillini. It has to be a loop hike because we are with our car (or if there is convenient public transportation we could always return by bus to where we left the car). Any suggestions?
I recently travelled to Assisi, Italy and cannot remember the name of a shop near Santa Chiara (on the way to the church) that sold beautiful Lavendar products. I did purchase some things but would like to order more. Can you tell me the name and contact info for that shop?

Hi I am going to Todi this late June. I will be going from Rome Fiumicino. The flight arrives quite late at around 4 pm. I might not be able to catch the last SULGA bus for Todi. After doing some research on the internet, it appears that taking bus is a better option than train in terms of the distance from the centre of town. Ideally I hope there would be buses that stop at the centre of town. Would anyone be kindly give some advice on how to plan the route? Thanks a million.
My family is looking to move to Italy for a year or so so my husband can study at a university in Rome. We really want to live in Assisi and are considering our options. We know that there is a monthly train pass that covers 65kms around Rome for 63E, but is there a monthly train pass that would include the commute from Assisi to Rome?
Thank you for your time!
My wife and I will be in Perugia in mid Jan 2013. My wife has mobility issues and at times will need to be in a wheel chair. After cheap/reasonable ground floor or room with a lift that is within walking distance of train/bus station as we will be coming from either Rome or Florence. Also need information about what to see/do and wear the locals eat and shop.
