alice springs accomodation

i'm flying into alice springs from cairns on sunday, june 25th. i need a hotel for that night and i want to take an overnight tour to uluru the next day...therefore need a hotel room for the 27th in alice as well as i am flying to darwin from alice on that date. not interested in a hostel...somewhere in the center of town as i like to walk around . thanx

    Alice Springs Plaza is good value, Best Western Elkira Motel should be reasonable price, central, Dessert Palm resort if you want something nicer, just do a search for Alice Springs on www.asiaoz.com, they should have lots, or if you are in a hurry this has lots too including those b2b.hotelclub.net/Enter.asp?...
