Hi! We are two Spanish people who are planning to travel on july to Mongolia. Flights to Ulaan Batar are quite expensive, so we are thinking about flying to Beijing and taking the train from there to Ulaan Batar. We would like to know the prices and the schedules, and how to buy them from Barcelona. It would be also interesting to know if it's worth to pay for the first class seats. Otherwise, we should be arriving on the 12th of July, so we would like to know if the trains are reliable just to avoid to miss a wedding we are celebrating there. We've got plenty of time, so there's no problem if we have to arrive there some days before. Thank you very much, we're looking forward to your advices!
Hello, There are 3 trains a week from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar, on Wednesday and Saturday at 7.40 AM leaving from Beijing, arriving in Ulaanbaatar at 14.40, third train schedule is not clear yet, About price standart room is 65 USD (4 person at room), semilux 80 USD, lux (2 person at room)is 100 USD per person, it should be change next spring. Hi, I can help you as we go often there and have friends who can do all to realize your plans and dreams why don't you from spain fly to Mongolia with aeroflot changing on Moscow. not expensive.. just have look.. from paris and milan fly is over 750€ to buy your ticket for Ub from Pekin you just have to mail to: RICHARD TIAM he is really wonderful to have train ticket, as you go there in summer and during nadam period you must book your train ticket early as sometimes on may already all sold out. Richard do mirqacle but better to book advance! also for palne ticket from spain or France to Moscoaw-Ub or to bejing read as following Beijing-U.B. with TRANSMOGOLIAN: 2/3 times /week according to the season. In Beijing it can be difficult to get a ticket in advance for the way Beijing- U.B.
