Mastercard Accepted?

Do the department stores in UB accept Mastercard as well as Visa? I keep reading Visa in the books but I only have Mastercard. Will I have a problem or should I just bring more travellers cheques and cash? I'll also have my bank debit card which uses the PLUS system, do the ATM's accept that system? Thanks! Laura
