hello everyone, I kindly ask for some tips for my trip to Ukraine on next August; I explored western side of the country and now I wanna visit Odessa, Crimea and also a couple of eastern cities like Kharkiv. Mainly on suggestions on affordable flights Odessa-Simferopol and catchin a train from Crimea to Kharkiv. Thanks
Aerosvit and Ukraine international fly from Odessa to Simferopol. www.poezda.net will give you details of trains Simferopol to Kharkiv. You may have to play with the Kharkiv station as the timetable doesn't always read as we see it. I love Odessa,so much to see, in the centre,opera house,nice lively beaches. In Crimea Yalta,Sudak,Novey Svit some very lively and also quiet places.

I have just looked at poezda site and it doesn't recognise Kharkiv,but there is Harkov,which we think is possibly correct I was wrong about flights. From looking at airline schedules and also on skyscanner.net flights from Odessa to Simferopol are via Kiev and not direct and shortest was 8 hours. Apologies for my mistake. Maybe with all the travelling time,easier to catch a train Odessa to Simferopol

I live in Odessa and can help you. About flights-you should better travel by train. It is cheaper and all the people do it. We sdo not use airflights in Ukrain often. When we need to travel abroad-yes, airplain is the best variant. By the way there is no straight flights between the cities. All flights go to Kiev. There are flights like; Odessa-Kiev, Kiev-Simferopol, Kiev-Kharkiv. I advice you to choose train. If you have some questions about Odessa, I will be plesed to help you.

Hello. If you neet by railway ticket in summer - you need do ther long time before. In thet time to many people travel to Crimea and Odessa!
