Hi Vt folks, After evaluating the travel time between flight/train/car I have planned to drive from Udaipur to Indore. Can you please tell me whether it would be a good idea? I am not sure whether highway (NH-79) is well maintained or not. Thanks for your help !!! Akii

I do not recommend self driving in India. The roads are dangerous, with animals crossing and large trucks on roads. Train is a much safer option.

Hi, People do travel with road Via Ratlam- Ujjain. there is train udaipur to indore also
