visitng Kumbhalgarh from Udaipur

I really want to visit Kumbhalgarh fort and wildlife park, but am totally cluless about logistics! please let me know if you have any information and prices for: -A cheap hotel near Kumbhalgarh -Getting to Kumbhalgarh from udaipur airport - taxi cost? Or pre arranged coach tour etc? any other tips or comments from those who have been here would be appreciated! thanks alex

    Hello...Kumbhalgarh fort can be done in a day trip from Udaipur. The cost iis really reasonable, and a driver is provided. About R2500.The Fort is majstic in scale, but only takes a few hours to see. There is not much else worth seeing at Kumbhalgarh unfotunately. But the roadside scenery is grat. Spend more time in Udaipur!! It is the most beautiful city in India. See my pages for pictures!
